Volunteers

The Indiana African American Genealogy Group is run entirely by volunteers. We're looking for more help in these areas in particular. Please contact us if you are interested, and help us make the society even better.

• Research & Education Committee - educating members and the community about research and specifically about African American Research

• Membership Committee - communicating with the public about IAAGG and recruitment of new members

• Conference Committee - helps to coordinate the annual IAAGG conference, future host, vendors, etc.

• Nomination Committee - to prepare ballots, count votes, and all other responsibilities for election.

• Long Range Planning Committee - to plan and strategize for the future of the organization.

• Publicity Committee - information, articles, and advertisements in the news media or by word of mouth.
